Synopsis:
Zozo grows up in Beirut. Despite the ongoing civil war he lives a normal life in school and among friends. One day the most terrible thing happens and Zozo is separated from his family and now he has to make it on his own. His only hope is to make it to Sweden where his grandparents live. For Zozo it is unknown ground.

Director’s statement
“ZOZO is the film that I’ve been dreaming of doing for such a long time […] I can’t really answer why I made it; it’s just always been in my head. It’s much more personal than anything I’ve done in the past, because it’s inspired by my own life. […] Zozo is a lor cuter than I ever was..ha ha. I’d say in general, I made Zozo smarter, more soave and cooler…everything I wished I’d been”.
