Original title: Ikke Naken
German title: Farbe der Milch, Die
Norway, 2004

Director: Lian, Torun
Production company: Painswick Film AS
Co-producers: AB Svensk Filmindustri
Age recommendation: 10 years and up

This film is a romantic comedy about first love. About how difficult it is to fall in love and not to do so. Twelve year old Selma knows all about that. She has decided to give up on boys and concentrate on science and Nobel Prices instead. But what does she do when the only one to share her interests is a boy?

"A bit more for older children, with a sensitive approach of more daring themes, such as dawning sexuality. The outline of the emotional growth is brought in a very good cinematography. The sensitiveness of young people and their surroundings is depicted in a subtle photography." (Festivaljury Antwerp/Brugge 2004)

In this film a humorous family convinced us with a special type of humour. The film is all about growing up while remaining a child. The young actors portrayed this feeling with heart." Children's Jury, Kinderfilmfest Berlin 2005.

Marketing strategies:
The film is based on Torun Lian's own novel "Ikke naken, ikke kledt". Also TV-series (4 x 30 min.)
