After her mother’s death, Misa moves to her grandmother in the north of Sweden. In the deep forests, where she seeks refuge, she befriends a wolf. Poachers are roaming the area and Misa decides to help the wolf and her cubs. Through meeting her grandmother, the Sami boy Gustav and the wolves, Misa learns to deal with her grief and finds the strength to move on.
