Synopsis:
Two of the biggest names in modern comic book art – illustrator Dave McKean and writer Neil Gaiman – have made Mirrormask t a totally unique experience. As the 15-year-old Helenas mother gets seriously sick, Helena is forced to enter a fantastic parallel world in order to save her. The adventurous story is backed up by an opulent visual universe: strange creatures, amazing landscapes and a multitude of surrealistic effects give the film a convincing dream like character. A rare visual experience indeed.
