Synopsis:
In 1966, John Lennon is going through an existential crisis, he is determined to leave the Beatles and is convinced that he could become an actor, he heads towards Almería to work in Richard Lester’s anti-war film "How I Won the War". Antonio, an English teacher who uses the Beatles songs for his lessons, decides to set out and meet Lennon. On the way, he meets Belén, who has run away from the murky chains clamped upon her by her family and the social atmosphere reigning in the country. She is barely 20, but she carries the weight of her past with her. Both run into a 16-year-old teenager, Juanjo, who has run away from home in a flurry of youthful rebellion after an argument with his father. The three see Lennon as a symbol of freedom and hope. Their adventure becomes the expression of a country desperate for a better future, in the same places and time that Lennon composed his song "Strwberry Fields Forever".
