Synopsis:
In the 1970s, Pavel entered a small community of people experimenting with drugs, which didn't officially exist in totalitarian Czechoslovakia. He was later at the birth of the crystalline form of pervatin, which became a Czech patent, and has indirectly affected the lives of thousands of people around the world. Prague has become the Amsterdam of the East and Pavel is its leading personality. But is he happy about that? Pavel hasn't had a very lucky life. He nearly died several times during what seemed to be his end - in a state of toxic psychosis. He's been to prison, and an explosion caused during drug production caused him severe injuries and lifelong disabilities. He currently works as a therapist in Bohnice where he, paradoxically, treats victims of his several-decades-old invention.
