Synopsis:
Short version:
With the help of a goblin Benny and Constance want to bring an otter back to life. But they will only succeed if they find within two days who killed the otter.
Longer version:
"The Enchanted Otter" is the tale of Benny and his sister Clara. They have just moved to a small town in Thuringia and have no friends there yet. One day, Benny discovers an injured fish otter in the woods. When he attempts to rescue the animal, he encounters “mean” Malte and his gang, and runs away to take cover in an old abandoned hut. There he finds a mysterious little man. The strange gnome promises to restore the otter to health if Benny can find out who is responsible for its injuries.
The children have two days in which to discover the truth. But their search for the guilty party is more complicated than they thought it would be, especially as the little imp’s supposed magical potions seem more likely to cause chaos than to help …
