Children's Jury comment at the Antwerp Festival for Children's Film: "The price of Tolerance of the Flemish Community goes to the film who scores in all the facets of film-making. Besides the beginning, there is no weakness in the continuity of the story.
The credibility, a much-discussed subject during the festival, wasn’t an argument because of the sturdy atmosphere in the film. The film was full of tension from the beginning to the end and the tension is built up in a nice crescendo. Some of the jury-members had to be removed from under their chairs after the film.
The nice rap-music who comes back very regularly is liked a lot and fits very well in this detective-story.
Theme’s like friendship, solidarity, love, standing for children by parents and standing up for adults by children were spotted by us.
For the acting-achievements we have a lot of admiration for the main-actor Emil, but even more for Pony, who is very good as leader of the gang.
The many chases are filmed in long smooth movements and attracted us a lot.
The editing is executed very logical, so there’s no criticism on this part.
This was a film that attracted us from the beginning till the end. It had a total harmony of technical features and a good story.
This films was a real inspiration for us."
