The Zlín Film Festival has its spring part behind it, an event that went almost (despite a drive-in cinema) entirely online. “Altogether, online visitors spent nearly 120,000 minutes on our films and broadcasts, which is the equivalent of over 82 days,” says Executive Director Jarmila Záhorová.

It has become clear that ECFA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the ECFA Award Ceremony in 2021 will see a virtual edition. The date for the events, hosted by the Zlin Film Festival, is set on 30 May.
3,600 young jurors from 38 countries elected THE CROSSING, a Norwegian film by Johanne Helgeland, for the EFA Young Audience Award 2021. Read more.
At the age of 75, Ulrich Breuning passed away at the end of March 2021. Breuning was a beloved curator of children’s films in Denmark.
