Elizabeth Shepherd, who, as organiser of the Children’s Film Festival Seattle, often sought to connect with European festivals while firmly upholding the individuality and tradition of her own event, is leaving the festival in good hands.
Elizabeth Shepherd: “After 16 incredible years as director of Children’s Film Festival Seattle, I can say that I loved every minute of my time at Northwest Film Forum and my house of memories is full of films, friends, artists and most of all, the incredible children and young people I was lucky enough to meet during these years. We saw the world and fed our minds together.” Now she is leaving the festival in the capable hands of its new director Kendra Ann Sherrill. Best of luck to both of them!
