A new ECFA Award season
While festivals in 2021 were on shaky ground, 19 of them were willing to select titles for the ECFA Awards shortlists. ECFA members can currently vote for the Best Feature, Best Short and Best Documentary. All(!) shortlisted films are available on the Sooner streaming platform. Members, please cast your votes!
Kids Kino Docs new development programme
Right after the 2022 edition of the Kids Kino Lab’s successful start, the organising New Horizons Association, in co-operation with the South Norwegian Film Centre, launched a new programme: Kids Kino Docs. The call for projects for the first edition is open!
LUCAS: European Youngsters wanted!
LUCAS is looking for young people who already have some experience with film and are interested in cooperating with the LUCAS Int’l Festival for Young Film Lovers in Frankfurt (6-13 October, 2022).
Work in Progress: THE TESLA CASE
Bulgarian director and producer Andrey Hadjivasilev is not only passionate about producing films for children, he also has the ambition to improve the conditions for young audience film funding in his home country. With THE TESLA CASE he currently has a new title in production.
AleKino! nominates 2021’s last ECFA Award
