Workshop Warehouse opens in Bologna
The Workshop Warehouse has become a brand! With this ‘market’ for hands-on workshops in 2023 ECFA will take the next step in the dissemination of initiatives in the field of media literacy. The only question was: where and when will this Warehouse open its doors? That has now been decided.
Zlin, between ages 8 to 13
The Zlin Film Festival is the one and only brave event insisting on serving its ECFA Jury exclusively feature documentaries. The programming procedure is tough, but according to the Jury there was one title that stood head and shoulders above the rest, GABY, BETWEEN AGES 8 TO 13 (Engeli Broberg, Sweden).

LAST FILM SHOW scores at Cinema in Sneakers
In the 10th jubilee edition of the Cinema in Sneakers festival, held in a hybrid form in Warsaw, the ECFA Award went to LAST FILM SHOW (Pan Nalin), a story set in India but made as an Indian-French co-production.

Ennesimo claims public space
La Sosteria is a project of urban redevelopment, through a creative re-appropriation of a newsstand in the village of Fiorano, Italy. La Sosteria aims at preserving existing estate, repurposing abandoned infrastructure, and involving the community in a programme of activities.

Film in Hospital project granted another two years
In May 2022, European MEDIA funds approved the international Film in Hospital project for two more years. Film in Hospital can now keep striving to grant ill children in hospitals and revalidation centres access to exclusive, festival-quality films and educational materials.
