Mo & Friese (Hamburg) celebrated its 2nd online edition with an ECFA Award for a magnificent short film. And as the festival staff stated: “We are happy twice… Once because all went well and once because it is over…”
After a troublesome year, China is among those countries where the children’s film movement is reviving at full force, under the impulse of the China Children’s Film Association.
The Zlín Film Festival has its spring part behind it, an event that went almost (despite a drive-in cinema) entirely online. “Altogether, online visitors spent nearly 120,000 minutes on our films and broadcasts, which is the equivalent of over 82 days,” says Executive Director Jarmila Záhorová.
On the occasion of the Annual General Meeting, two new board members were elected. Both Maciej Jakubczyk and Marjo Kovanen are great additions and complete the ECFA Board Committee.
The Ciné Junior festival in the French Val-de-Marne region, initially planned for January 2021, is taking place during the entire month of June and presents an interesting programme around a strong topical theme.
