Synopsis:
With silent tenacious courage, ten-year-old Nenad copes with the exhausting life in an enclave inhabited by Christian Serbs in the middle of the Albanian Kosovo. He endures the daily nerve-racking ride to school in an armored KFOR car, which is attacked with stones thrown by the Albanian children, as well as his grumpy father who beats him for the slightest offense. At school, he is the only student and is taught by a single teacher. Caring for his ailing grandfather belongs to the certainties of his life. When this one dies and his teacher moves to Belgrade, events start happening very fast. Everything is falling apart and the fragile order becomes brittle. The dramatic turn requires a moral change of thinking of all sides, but the children are the first to approach each other ...
