SLOTH awarded at Biennial of Animation Bratislava

Despite all restrictions, the juries in the 15th Int’l Film Festival of Animated Films for Children & Youth of the Bratislava Biennial of Animation still enjoyed and discussed a selection of animated films from around the world.

Among them was the ECFA Jury: Volodymyr Diagilev (Ukraine), Andrej Kolenčík (Slovakia) and Halka Marčeková (Slovakia) awarded the film SLOTH by Julia Ocker (Germany), about a sloth that is desperate to buy ice cream, but unfortunately way too slow. Luckily the ice cream man doesn’t give up until he has found a solution.

All award winners of the Biennial of Animation Bratislava 2020 were presented in a closing ceremony clip. Leading organiser of the festival is the Int’l House of Art for Children BIBIANA, in partnership with the Slovak Ministry of Culture and the national public broadcaster RTVS.
