On 9 February, more than 100 ECFA representatives gathered in Berlin for ECFA’s Annual General Meeting, the ultimate yearly occasion for mingling and exchange among members and friends.
Included in the minutes of the meeting, all ECFA members will soon receive an overview of the 11 projects presented during the AGM. Once again a proof of the richness and diversity in activities and expertise that ECFA’s members stand for – which makes us sincerely proud. We will keep you informed about these projects in the upcoming ECFA Update newsletters.
During the AGM we said goodbye to two loyal ECFA board members. With their invaluable engagement, Petra Slatinsek and Kathy Loizeau have profoundly set their seal on ECFA’s work during their six-years-tenure. New board members elected were Marta Nieto Postigo (Drac Magic – Catalonia, Spain) and Becky Parry (University of Sheffield – UK).
Later that day during the ECFA Award Ceremony and Party of the Children’s Film Community, approx. 500 representatives from the industry came together for further mingling. This event has gained immense importance over recent years and is marked by many as a top-priority in their busy Berlinale agenda.
ECFA wants to thank the German Children’s Film Community for their co-operation. Many thanks go to Michael Harbauer and the entire Schlingel team for their efforts in perfectly hosting this event.
