From 29 September – 2 October, the Kids Kino Industry Forum for films and TV series for young audiences took place online, coordinated from Warsaw. Kids Kino Industry is an international forum devoted to the co-production of films and TV series for young audiences.
274 professionals – decision makers, distributors, sales agents, broadcasters, VOD platforms, producers, scriptwriters, directors and students – participated in this year’s edition. Among the decision makers were Netflix, ViacomCBS, Indie Sales, Beta Film and Intramovies.
After four days of online presentations, workshops, one-on-one meetings and project pitches, the Kids Kino Industry awards went to a number of promising projects:
– LET’S GO GRANDPA (Poland), a project developed within the Kids Kino.Lab. This live action feature has an intriguing tagline: “To get the family together, you sometimes need to run away from home”.
– NINJA FROM MANILLA (Philippines) tells a story about a father and his son, who dreams about becoming a ninja warrior.
– LALA – A FAIRY’S HEART (Hungary) a tale about friendship, courage and healing broken hearts.
