Kids Kino.Lab 2021 Launched @ JEF festival

Kids Kino.Lab is an international script development trajectory for feature films and TV series for young audiences, initiated by the Polish New Horizons association. During a 10 month process, teams (script writer & producer) from different countries meet in workshops to fine tune their script and production package in consultation with experienced tutors.

FANTASTIQUE (participating project)

From January to September 12 projects from Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Montenegro and Latvia will gather at different festivals, like the JEF festival (Antwerp), where teams and tutors are meeting for the first time. JEF organises a series of online training moments, like a session with the national Film Institute, a masterclass about the young audience’s needs with Els Kuiper (NPO, the Netherlands), Solveig Langeland (Sola Media, Germany) and communication agency Hurae (Belgium), there are case studies about the animated co-productions DIMITRI S2 (Beast Animation) and OLLIE (Lunanime) and a speed date with Belgian producers. Later this year teams will meet again in Montenegro (Film Centre of Montenegro), Czech Republic (Zlin Film Festival) and Warsaw.

Kids Kino.Lab is initiated by New Horizons (Poland), and supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA programme.
