EFA Award nominations

GIRL IN FLIGHT

The European Film Academy (EFA) announced three nominees for the EFA Young Audience Award 2018: GIRL IN FLIGHT (aka LA FUGA) by Sandra Vannucchi (Italy / Switzerland), HOBBYHORSE REVOLUTION by Selma Vilhunen (Finland) and WALLAY by Berni Goldblat (France / Burkina Faso / Qatar). These nominations were chosen by a committee of professionals, but finally it’s the young audience that will vote for the winner. On 6th May, the nominated films will be screened to young audiences in 36 countries across Europe and beyond. In a truly European vote, jury speakers will then transmit national results to Erfurt (Germany). The winner will be announced in an award ceremony, streamed live on yaa.europeanfilmawards.eu.

HOBBYHORSE REVOLUTION

Votes will be casted in 36 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Fyr Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and UK.

The EFA Young Audience Award is organised by the European Film Academy with the support of Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) and the Creative Europe – Media Programme of the EU.
