ECFA celebrates its 30th anniversary at Annual General Meeting

ECFA‘s Annual General Meeting made participants gloat with pride. More than 100 people introducing themselves, gave an impression of the forces joined together in one room.

Why are we calling this edition utterly successful? Because:
– Members got an insight in the consultancy process that should shape ECFA’s future goals and priorities, that will be reflected in ECFA’s new mission, vision, and day-to-day operation.
– ECFA launched an online community, for all members to join. (Those who didn’t receive an invitation yet should get in touch with ECFA president Margret Albers.
– The first ‘Open Mic’ session gave the floor to several interesting member initiatives.
– A toast was brought out to the celebration of 30 years of ECFA. Founding father Felix Vanginderhuysen: “Founded in 1988, for over 30 years we have worked on improving children’s access to the best possible film culture and increasing an awareness of the need for good media policies across Europe.”

ECFA thanks all members at present. “Your presence was very dear to us and contributed to making this Annual General Meeting an impressive event, not to be missed.”
