The ECFA jury in the Ciné-Jeune de l’Aisne Festival picked THE RED TURTLE for the ECFA Award. The animation film without dialogues by Michael Dudok de Wit (France / Belgium, 2016) tells the story of a man stranded on a tropical island after a shipwreck and his relationship with nature, mentored by a giant red turtle.
Members of the ECFA Jury were hosted in the city of Guise, the main location of the festival that tours around the entire l’Aisne region. Jury members were Ziva Jurancic (Kinodvor, Slovenia), Khaeta Chittick (Buff, Sweden) and Bénédicte Jouatel (Ciné-Jeune, France).
