Co-Production Forum in Zlin

In a programme that is packed with films, the Zlin Film Festival is also growing in terms of industry impact. Shining star on the industry programme is the Central European Children’s Film Co-Production Forum on Saturday 28 May.

The initiative was founded by three leading film festivals for children & youth: Zlín Film Festival, SCHLINGEL, and Ale Kino!, with the aim to support partnerships between producers who are dedicated to young audience content in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Poland. The meeting includes presentations of selected projects in a stage of development.

A minimum of six projects from three countries will be presented to a group of broadcasters, producers and sales agents in pitches and Q&A’s, followed by one to one meetings with registered participants. All presented projects will be feature films (animation, live action, documentary) looking for co-producers, sales or distribution contacts. If you thought your schedule for the 62nd Zlin Festival (25 May–1 June) wasn’t packed enough, this Forum can make the difference.
