
CEE Animation is the spokesperson for the animation industry in Central and East European countries. Their year-round activities include various formats: the Forum, the Workshop, CEE Talents, CEE Experience, Rise & Shine… Now a new format is about to be launched.



This year, the New Horizons Association celebrates the 10th edition of the Kids Kino Int’l Film Festival. This jubilee edition will be held from 30 September – 8 October in Warsaw, Wrocław and other cities in Poland. The on-site festival will be followed by an online edition (12-29 October).
Keeping up with the ECFA Beat
On 27 October a EU Parliamentary Breakfast will be hosted in Brussels by KIDS Regio, lobbying for “A strong European children’s film culture”.
Three films – two features and one documentary – have been selected by film experts and teenagers from around Europe in a two-step awarding procedure, and are now running for the Young Audience Award (YAA) 2022. What is unique about it? The winners will be chosen by young juries in more than 70 cities in 42 European countries watching the films online or in movie theatres.
The AleKino! festival celebrated its 40th edition with the animated ECFA Award winner DRAGON PRINCESS (by Jean-Jacques Denis & Anthony Roux, France) and with a new green festival policy.
