This year, the New Horizons Association celebrates the 10th edition of the Kids Kino Int’l Film Festival. This jubilee edition will be held from 30 September – 8 October in Warsaw, Wrocław and other cities in Poland. The on-site festival will be followed by an online edition (12-29 October).
The idea behind the Kids Kino Int’l Film Festival is to disseminate to a wider audience valuable films that stand out for their educational, artistic and production qualities. The programme will include three competitions and awards (for both feature films and documentaries) will be handed out – among them will be the ECFA Award.
This year’s festival will again be accompanied by Kids Kino Industry (3-5 October) an international co-production forum. Every year, more than 300 representatives from the film industry come to exchange knowledge, learn about trends and take part in the presentation of new projects for young audiences. In previous years, the forum was attended by representatives of, among others, Disney+, Canal+, Netflix, Warner Bros. and Discovery.
A call for projects for Kids Kino Industry opens on 7 February.
