RIGA IFF: Children’s film project pitching forum

The next edition of the Riga Int. Film Festival’s Forum, an annual pitching forum and co-production platform for children’s film creators, will be taking place from October 18-19th 2018.

The two day event will feature a pitching session for children’s film projects in development. The best project will be awarded a €5,000 cash prize, to be spent on post-production services at the BB Rental service company.

The RIGA IFF Forum consists of:
– Upcoming children’s film project presentations from the Baltic region, Central and Eastern Europe, for an audience of co-producers, distributors and sales agents.
– One-to-one meetings.
– Feedback from ‘young experts’ (children aged 7-14) in moderated sessions.
In 2017 the RIGA IFF Forum Award went to EIA’S CHRISTMAS AT PHANTOM OWL FARM, a wintry tale produced by Estonia’s Lux Film.

In close cooperation with multimedia content producers Story Hub and with support of TechHub Riga, the Forum will feature a conference on “educational content for children in swiftly evolving mediums such as virtual and augmented reality”, where participants can test their creative input with the sharp minds of the Baltic tech scene and bring to life their ideas for VR/AR-based products.

Apply here by August 15th to pitch your projects at the RIGA IFF Forum.

The fifth edition of the Riga Int. Film Festival will take place from October 18-31st.
