Short films are the true expertise of the Ciné-Jeune de l’Aisne festival. No less than seven short film competitions were presented in the festival’s spring event. Later this year an autumn edition will be celebrated, but the ECFA Award winner has already been decided.
Dimitra Kouzi, Greek ambassador for “all things documentary” decided to re-edit her film GOOD MORNING MR FOTIS. The new version, PASSAGE TO EUROPE, comes with new perspectives on a burning topic.
The Schlingel team is optimistic about organising the festival’s 2021 edition (9–16 October). “I don’t think things can get worse than it was in 2020, and still we reached out to 13,000 viewers. Since we managed to do it once, we can do it again,” says festival director Michael Harbauer.
