ECFA Award Edition 2018

ECFA Award 2018 goes to UP IN THE SKY

The ECFA Award 2018 went to “Up in the Sky” by Petter Lennstrand (Sweden, 2017). The 2018 ECFA Doc Award received Robin Jensen for his animated documentary film “The Shelter” (Norway, 2016). The awards were handed out on February 17th 2018 during the International Filmfestival Berlin – Berlinale.

Both ECFA Awards were elected from a shortlist of films, nominated throughout 2017 in several European children & youth film festivals. The final election was open for all ECFA members, choosing the “Best Children’s Films of the Year”.
