This year again, the ECFA Award made a long journey to India, for a new edition of the Smile Int. Film Festival – SIFFCY in Delhi. The award went to TOO FAR AWAY.
In this film, German director Sarah Winkenstette tells about an unexpected friendship between a young football addict and a Syrian refugee. Only when they discover they have a deep emotion in common, they can offer each other their trust and comfort.
Many ECFA members were among the guests enjoying Smile’s wonderful festival atmosphere. Serving in the ECFA Jury were Michael Harbauer (Germany), Judita Soukupová (Czech Republic) and Felix Vanginderhuysen (Belgium) (from left to right).
