Formerly known as VAF Třeboň, this pitching competition is open for animated projects in development in three categories: Short films, series/TV specials and feature films. ECFA member CEE (for Central & Eastern European animation) welcomes you from 6-8th May in the charming Czech city of Třeboň.
Alongside the public pitching session, all participants will go through a support program of meetings and workshops. Pitchers will get a unique opportunity for in depth consultation with experienced professionals. A three day programme offers a number of presentations, debates and screenings.
The CEE Animation Forum has grown into a networking platform where producers can meet with European industry representatives and CEE region broadcasters, present new talents and their creative work, and find financing and distribution for their projects. A remarkable growth is to be seen in the section for feature animation films in development, with no less than nine new projects pitching. Among them are SOLO LOBO (by Zoltán Miklósy & Attila Herkó, Hungary), PIECE (by Alan Holly, Ireland), SIDI KABA AND THE GATEWAY HOME (by Rony Hotin, France) and TWICE UPON A TIME (by Vojin Vasovic, Serbia).
