Synopsis:
Cobain comes from a broken home. His mother Mia, a drug addict, is heavily pregnant, which doesn‘t keep her from using and getting drunk every day. As he worries about her, he resolves to run away from his new foster family to try and get Mia help. Yet his efforts remain futile, his love rejected and the two separate after a bitter argument. He finds shelter with Mia‘s ex Wickmayer, a man who „employs“ a couple of foreign women. Cobain helps them in their daily life with translations and groceries. For the first time in his life, he feels he has something resembling a home. As Mia - now in an even worse condition - attempts to contact her son again, Wickmayer sends her away. But Cobain takes responsibility and tries to help Mia to be a good mother for once.
