Synopsis:
Ten-year-old Paul lives with his mother after he has overcome a severe case of leukaemia. The parents had separated because the father couldn't stand the family stress. When Paul's leukaemia breaks out again he runs away from home and hides in the cab of his father's truck who is supposed to transport refrigerators to Spain. When the father is informed about his son's fatal illness he has to make up his mind: should he follow the doctor's advice and take Paul to the nearest hospital or should he fulfil Paul's most ardent wish: a trip to the sea ...
