Synopsis:
Jean, the black sheep of the family, is literally thrown out by his father and brother, who have had enough of him. Frustrated and furious, the boy accepts the offer to join a hunt with a friend of the family's, who hopes he will manage to calm down a bit. But what is Jean plotting, and is it a good idea to give him a loaded gun?

'The End of Silence' is a shuddering but quiet drama, which oozes unrest - no large gestures are used here. The tension builds up ever so slowly towards the inevitable and shattering climax, for Jean is a ticking bomb that is just waiting to explode. A film, which slowly but surely leaves an impression on its audience.
