WALLAY wins EFA Young Audience Award 2018

More than 2,000 young (12-14 years) cinema-lovers in 43 cities and 34 countries across Europe and beyond have voted WALLAY as the winner of the EFA Young Audience Award 2018.

Having watched the three nominated films, the young jurors had the opportunity to discuss the films before voting for their favourite. The results were then reported live via video conference to the award ceremony in Erfurt, Germany.

In the French film WALLAY, by Berni Goldblat, a 13-year-old French boy is sent to his uncle in Burkina Faso, where it takes different qualities to become a man.
