Kinolub 2016: Russian Films Win in Krakow

135With “The Celestial Camel” by Juri Feting (Russia, 2015) as winner of the main prize and “Land of the Good Kids” by Olga Kaptur (Russia, 2013) awarded by the children’s jury two Russian films received the prizes for long films at the Kinlolub Filmfestival for Children and Young People which was held at Krakow and several other cities in the South of Poland. Zlin 2016: Children Jury awarded “Abulele” (Israel), Experts’ Jury voted for “The World of Us” (Korea) and ECFA’s jury has chosen “Learn by Heart” (France)

It is remarkable that children’s films from Asia have been winning more and more awards at festivals recently. Also at the International Zlin Film Festival for Children and Youth the experts’ jury gave their award to “The World of Us” directed by YOON Ga-eun (Korea 2016).
