Notes/description: Zlin Film Festival – International Film Festival for Children and Youth is the largest and oldest festival of its kind in the world. It was founded in 1961 within the environs of the Zlín Film Studio, which at the time was one of the biggest European producers of films targeted at children and youth. The festival´s competition is focused on live-action films for children and youth, animated shorts for children, European first films and student films. The festival is a member of ECFA.
