Notes/description: DOK.education is the Childrens' and Youth section of the 30th International Documentary Film Festival Munich:
"We are looking for creative short documentary films that tell age-appropriate stories of love, friendship, family, unusual hobbies, bullying, living with disability, life in foreign environments, being different, addiction, abuse, facing challenges or upheaval; films that will allow us to reach a young audience, ignite a passion for documentary film and lead a discussion about the film and its subject matter. Films about children or youth
... who live in unusual circumstances
... who are going through big changes in their lives
... who face up to challenges
We are looking for films
... with an outstanding visual language or signature
... that use a fascinating narrative form to present their subject matter
... that tell a true story artistically and in the documentary format"
