Synopsis:
After her mother died little girl Heidi is sent to her grandfather who lives alone in the Swiss mountains. Then one day the girls is sent to her aunt in Berlin to keep company to her "difficult" daughter Clara. Of course citygirl and country girl have some clashes and finally Heidi escapes by train back to Switzerland.
Comments:
Modern remake of Johanna Spyri's classic novel about a girl from the mountains that comes to a big city (Berlin). Imboden succeeded with this remake. Some old fashioned features and clichés of the 120 year old novel have been left out, but the magic of the story is still alive.
