Synopsis:
11-year-old Meissy is overjoyed when her father reappears in the city after years of absence. Against her mother’s wishes, she secretly seeks him out and becomes enchanted by his vibrant wanderer’s life, full of imagination, origami cranes, and extraordinary encounters.
Comments:
In a playful and lighthearted way, the film makes urgent themes such as homelessness, poverty, and mental vulnerability accessible and open to discussion for children, while also showing that people without homes are, above all, people just like anyone else.
