After last year’s launching forum, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation is now preparing to host the 2nd International “Fest of Fests” Forum on 10-12th June in Athens.
This year’s Forum is organised as a European focus group. Fest of Fests is teaming up with the Greek Educational Radio-Television, the National Centre of Audiovisual Media and Communication (EKOME S.A.) and numerous ECFA members, in order to extend the discussion on the promotion of film literacy in school education and the prominent role of children and youth film festivals in this context.
Fest of Fests is a project implemented by new ECFA member the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. It aspires to set up a community of practice and collaboration among children and youth film festivals, educational organisations and associations, with the specific aim to support the development of the screenwise viewer through existent and innovative pathways of film and media literacy.
