After a 3 years search for a safe haven, the China International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF) finally found shelter.
The 13th festival edition will take place in Guangzhou (aka Kanton) and with the support from the Guangzhou Government the festival will be held annually from this year on, for the next 10 years. CICFF, co-organised by ECFA member China Children’s Film Association, will welcome its guests in the vibrant metropolis in southern China, with a long history in foreign trade and cultural exchange. CICFF, with an aim to spread children’s film culture among local audiences and international industry professionals, will run from 15-19 November, with a programme dedicated to live action and animated feature length films.
The festival is now compiling a programme, for which submissions are still open till the end of May: http://www.cicfif.cn/film/apply_info.jspx.
