Synopsis:
Five girl friends, around ten years old, have their every-day-trouble with these stupid litle boys in their school. But when one of the girls' grandmother wants to slaughter the chicken that they like so much as their pets, the girls need the Boys' help. Of course the boys do not help the girls for free ...

Based on the book series by renowned writer Cornelia Funke (“The Thief Lord,” “Inkheart”), Wild Chicks weaves together lighthearted adventure with a look at serious challenges youth face. By highlighting the characters’ distinctive personalities, the film shows that differences between children need not be an obstacle to close friendship, and illustrates how youth can help each other navigate obstacles and changes, including one of the biggest changes of all – the transition from childhood to adolescence.
