Synopsis:
Suburban Copenhagen. When former pro footballer Torben, now unemployed and recently divorced, offers to coach his 13-year-old son's football team, his son David is far from pleased. The team is the worst in the league, their coach has just left them for their competitor, and both the boys and the club management seriously doubt Torben's coaching abilities. Winning his son's confidence and the championships becomes Torben's great challenge.

We, the Children’s Jury, have seen seven excellent children’s films this year. The last three days were a lot of work for us, but we still had lots of fun. The decision was very difficult for us, because we had two favourites, so that we would like to give a Special Mention to the film “Oskar & Josefine” by Carsten Myllerup. We liked this film especially because it was exciting. The film that has won the prize was also very exciting, amusing and gripping, a film for the whole family. The prize amounts to 2,500 €.
