Synopsis:
15-year-old girlfriends Rebekka, Claudia and Sofie are fed up with being treated like kids. So they decide to set each other challenges aimed at easing the transition to adulthood. But the challenges are no walk in the park. For instance, Claudia is dared to make a declaration of love to a classmate she can’t stand and Sofie has to French kiss another girl. But the pressure is really on when Rebekka has to tell an online chat that she is a prostitute and the “31-year-old guy” insists on meeting her. “Triple Dare” is more than just a lively and enjoyable teenager comedy. Director Christina Rosendahl manages to convey the fine line that adolescents have to tread between the fun and the fear of their newfound sexuality. Just how perfectly she hits the mark is reflected in the fact that “Triple Dare”, released in early August, has already become the most successful Danish youth film of the season.
