Young Horizons Industry Opens Call for Projects

Young Horizons Industry, the Warsaw-based co-production forum focused on films and series aimed at children and youth, opened its call for projects ‘In Development’ or ‘Work in Progress’ to be presented during a pitching. The event, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, will take place from 28-30 September, as part of the Young Horizons Int’l Film Festival. 

 

It’s pitching time! Find your future business partners among the 300+ professionals attending the Young Horizons Industry and promote your project in front of sales agents, distributors, broadcasters, streamers, and possible co-production partners.  

We are looking for: 

– full-length films, series, TV specials for kids & youth from around the world

– animation, live-action, documentary, transmedia…

– All stages of development and production.

Submission deadline: 12 May (submissions are free of charge).

 

Join the ‘Coffee with Young Horizons Industry’ online meetup on 17 March, 11.00 am (Warsaw time), to ask your questions about the submissions and meet Anna E. Dziedzic, the new head of Young Horizons Industry.

Young Horizons Industry (28-30 September 2026) is an international co-production forum for films and series aimed at children and youth, and a meeting hub for film professionals passionate about creating audiovisual content for young audiences. 

The goal of the forum is simple: to help creators connect with potential partners. By bringing together projects and industry players, we are creating a space where you can exchange ideas and form partnerships.

 

The Forum is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, Creative Europe MEDIA, and the City of Warsaw.
