What is the status of film production for children and youth in the Nordics? Are the historically praised Nordic funding schemes still going strong? In October 2023 film professionals from six Nordic countries and regions met in Copenhagen to share their findings and experiences at The Pan Nordic Industry Think Tank on Children’s Media, organised by NoJSe and funded by MEDIA – Creative Europe.
The main findings of the Think Tank have now been compiled by media analyst Johanna Koljonen (known for the annual Nostradamus Report at Goteborg Int’l Film Festival). You can dive deeper into her report, that has been published online.
The NoJSe (Nordic Junior Sessions) Network consists of five Nordic children’s film festivals: BUFF ICYFF, Sweden; Kristiansand ICFF, Norway; BUSTER Film Festival, Denmark; Oulu ICFF, Finland; and RIFF, Iceland.
