This year, the industry programme of the Kristiansand Int’l Children’s Film Festival (27 April – 2 May) will be held entirely online. It’s the biggest programme ever presented at the festival and it is … free of charge for all ECFA members!
The industry programmme will contain a round-table discussion with the high-profile animation directors such as Will Becher (A SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE: FARMAGEDDON – photo), Kim Hagen Jensen (DREAMBUILDERS), Tomm Moore (WOLFWALKERS), Christian Ryltenius (PELLE NO-TAIL) and Rasmus Sivertsen (CAPTAIN SABERTOOTH AND THE MAGIC DIAMOND), moderated by director Frank Mosvold (ELLA BELLA BINGO).
In addition, there will be masterclasses with screenwriting guru Robert McKee and marketing expert Gary Pope (Kids Industries), who will be talking about audience engagement and the story structure in Norwegian children’s films. Director of Nordic acquisitions at Nordisk Film, Rasmus Krogh, will give a keynote presentation on market trends in the Nordic theatrical market.
Focusing on both funding and distribution, Nordic funding agencies will share their guidelines, representatives of the Nordic Public broadcasters will discuss trends and demands, while European distributors and sales agents will scan the current market.
All this comes in addition to the popular works in progress presentations, Films on the Horizon. The full programme can be found at www.bff.no with accreditation details to be published shortly. Accreditation is free of charge for all ECFA members.
Welcome to the first digital industry days at Barnefilmfestivalen 2021!
