The beats hammer hard and fast, pelting down on the dance floor like hailstones. It's not easy to keep up with this rhythm. Hardtekk is the sound of the East. After reunification, this special variant of techno emerged in cities such as Dresden, Leipzig, and Magdeburg, and it lives on to this day.
