Synopsis:
While clearing out the cellar, Tobi and Marina come across an old video recording. On it, Tobi, as an 8-year-old boy, hosts a self-invented show on his favourite topic: the earth in our soil. The video ends with a riddle question - the very first Checker question: Who leaves the most powerful tracks in the ground? Tobi has forgotten the answer. And while the question from earlier never leaves him, his childhood self suddenly appears to him. Surreal, but still real. The 8-year-old Tobi challenges the Tobi of today: Remember the answer! And prove that you're still a checker. The search for the answer takes him to the unique flora and fauna of Madagascar, deep into the permafrost of Spitsbergen and on the trail of the ancient Maya in Mexico.
