Synopsis:
Johanna (11) receives a surprise visit from her grandfather Kito from Tanzania – for the first time. During a museum visit, Kito discovers a mask that he believes was stolen from his home village during the colonial era. Shortly thereafter, a mysterious theft shocks the town: the valuable Makonde mask has disappeared from the Ethnological Museum. Between friendship, family, and history, Johanna must not only confront the mystery of the mask, but also her own identity.
