The Pellet tells its tough story with a great sense of sensitivity and without sentiment. (Buster Copenhagen 2002)

"It touches a subject that is really important to talk about. You saw a boy’s anguish, friendship, and love. It touched something in my heart. It is a very tragic and dramatic film. It is a genious MASTERPIECE!" (Comments from the children's jury at Buster Children's Film Festival Copenhagen 2002)

„A film to encourage children to restrain against getting mistreated. Pablo’s example shows us that it is possible to find a way out of fear and suppression. And we get to know the meaning of friendship ...“ (Children’s Jury Vienna Children’s Film Festival)
